After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid (optional), Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar 73 meters high built in 1193 AD which tapers from a 15 m diameter base to just 2.5 m at the top. The walls have intricately carved quotations from the Koran (the holy book of the Muslims) and are one of the most perfect towers of the Persian world, Lodhi gardens and Jantar Mantar. Visit Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Rajghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, a simple square platform of black marble marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948. Originally it was the name of a historic ghat of Old Delhi on the banks of Yamuna river and later the memorial area was also called Raj Ghat. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns at one end. A stone footpath flanked by lawns leads to the walled enclosure that houses the memorial. After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur-The Pink City of Rajasthan. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Jaipur and check in at the hotel. The pink capital of Rajasthan is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills, crowned with forts and enclosed by embattled walls. Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh is one of Jaipur's major landmarks. The City Palace covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. The famous Jantar Mantar Observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 is an excellent example of the marvelous precision wherein each construction has a specific purpose to measure the position of stars, altitudes and azimuths or calculating eclipses.
